On the 21st and 22nd June Cheshire Gundogs will be running the Game Fair Qualifying event at the Cheshire Show Ground in Tabley. Unfortunately this is behind closed doors and public are not allowed. i am looking for helpers so if you have an interest in competition with your gundog then perhaps helping would give you an insight.
The event is designed for dogs that work on shoots and they have never run and gained an award in a field trial. Your gundog can also be of mixed breed, so sprockers and springeradors are allowed to enter.
The spaniel test is on Monday 21st and retrievers on Tuesday 22nd. Two qualifiers from each day will then run at the Game Fair in July against other qualifiers from around the country. The overall spaniel and retriever winners at the Game Fair will win £2000 cash prize each.
